Delete Your Yaps Account

Yaps lets you permanently delete your account and associated data. This page explains how to request deletion and what happens after you do.

Fastest option

Delete your account in the Yaps app

  1. Open the Yaps app and sign in to the account you want to delete.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Open the Account section.
  4. Tap Delete account and confirm the deletion request.

If you subscribed through Google Play, Yaps also attempts to cancel the linked subscription during account deletion. You can verify your subscription status in Google Play under Payments & subscriptions.

Can't access the app?

Email support@yaps.ai from the email address on your Yaps account and ask us to delete it. For the fastest review, include the account email you used for Yaps and mention whether you have an active Google Play subscription.

What Yaps deletes

  • Your Yaps account record, including your email address and sign-in credentials.
  • Active sessions, refresh tokens, and linked device records.
  • Subscription records stored in Yaps systems.
  • Usage logs, cloud usage ledger entries, and verification tokens tied to the account.
  • Referral, reward, and attribution records associated with the account.

What Yaps may keep

  • Limited billing, tax, chargeback, or fraud-prevention records when we are legally required to retain them.
  • Transaction or subscription records that are kept by payment providers or app stores such as Google Play or Stripe under their own policies.

Deletion timing

We process confirmed deletion requests as soon as they are received. Personal data in Yaps systems is deleted or anonymized within 30 days, unless we are required to keep specific records by law.
